Mam me and Bob When my mother passed away I was given a box of old photographs. Looking through the box it seemed as if my childhood was there, recorded on film with a Brownie 127 camera. The memories were stirred up and I felt that I had to capture those memories by transferring them into coloured images, adding my memory to the tiny black and white photographs.

Historically photographs were once produced on metal plates and sold to customers for putting into decorative frames. The works in this selection were done on pieces of prepared aluminium, which was cut to four times the dimension of the original photographs.
